The Cat in the Hat looks pretty funny, but how do you turn a 40 page book into a 85 minute movie?
Mike Myers is an excellent actor to play the cat though. He looks awesome and even if he sounds a bit like Austin Powers, it's still pretty funny :)
I'll have to go and see it with Mikayla I reckon (my 5 yr old)
So, I'm a HUGE Parramatta fan, and so far this season I've already endured a big low, but the last 2 weeks have been big highs.
So, this weekend I have the annual pilgrimage to see them play at Canberra Stadium.
Can't wait to see my Eels thrash the pants off those Raiders.
I enjoy nothing more than watching the faces of Raiders fan as their team loses :)
But I'm just nasty that way...
I just bought a book called, "They Fuck You Up. How to survive family life". It's written by Oliver James and he pushes the theory that our lives , feelings, personalities are built in the first 6 years of our life.
He says that it is what we learn from 0-6 that determines how fucked up we are in the future.
I heard him interviewed on Triple J the other day and it sounded very interesting.
Hopefully it's a good read..
If John Howard (hereby known as 'The Wanker') wins the election this year, I don't know what I will do. However I have said the said thing at the last 2 elections.
How long can Australians just sit by and put up with the conservative, racist twaddle that comes out of his and his cohorts mouths?
Mark Latham is the perfect man for the job in my opinion. Having gone through Beazley and Crean without any wiff of success, Latham is the man to grab The Wanker by the horns and throw him onto the rubbish tip.
So, in that way I am very much looking forward to that day when I get to put my vote down on paper.
Sport, News, Entertainment.
These are 3 topics that I will be covering in my Blogs.
Who knows, maybe I'll even talk about the weather..
I will also discuss politics, but only when I really get worked up about something.
I am not that interested in politics in general, but I am passionate about my loathing for a certain Prime Minister.
Sport will feature heavily in my posts, because I am a huge fan of most sporting codes.
I look forward to any comments I may get about posts I make. I may be controversial sometimes, but well, isn't that the point of having your own bit of webspace?
